Course : C.A. Common Professional Test (C.P.T.)
The Managing Committee of Shia P. G. College has established a new Institute for Job Oriented Course : Shia Institute of Commerce and Management (S.I.C.M.) to provide greater opportunity to the students of Shia P.G. College and other students S.I.C.M. has got the permission from I.C.A.I. New Delhi to run the above course which is very beneficial to the students.Chartered Accountancy is a Well - Established profession all over the world having good future prospects. This course prepares the students to become a Chartered Accountant (C.A.). Admission to the above course is open throughout the year.
Minimum Qualification for the C.P.T. : Students who have passed Intermediate (10+2) in any discipline (Arts, Science or Commerce) or any equivalent exams are eligible to apply for registration in C.P.T. course on prescribed forms. Students who have appeared in the Intermediate exams can also apply for registration with I.C.A.I Kanpur on prescribed forms.
Subjects of the C.P.T. Course :
A sum of Rs. 2000/- is charged towards fee for C.P.T. course . If the student wants admission, he will have to pay a Crossed Bank Draft from any Nationalised Bank payable at Lucknow in favour of “Principal, Shia P.G. College, Lucknow”. Attendance : 75% Attendance in each subject is essential to appear in the C.P.T. course conducted by I.C.A.I. New Delhi. - Section A : Fundamentals of Accounting (60 Marks)
